Everyone Should Eat This Leafy Green Veggie

How many people do you know actually eat kale? Eating healthy has become more and more popular. Eating healthy is a way of life. Just like your great grandmother, grandmother and, well, yes, your mom, tells you. “Eating healthy will make you live longer!”.

Eating kale on a daily basis is one way you can eat healthy.

If you think eating kale is boring to or it tastes horrible-think again! A solution to this can be to bake it and make kale chips. It’s delicious!

KALE CHIPS:

Set oven to 350 degrees, Wash kale, Dry kale, Cut kale into bite size small pieces (I try to not use the center stem-it just ends up being too tough). Throw the kale in a mixing bowl-toss in a little olive oil, garlic and onion powder, and salt.  Mix it all up with your hands-that’s your best tool!

Do not over drench the kale in oil! We are trying to dry it out. On a large flat metal tray place the kale pieces so they are not on top of each other, but next to each other. Put the kale in the oven for about 10-15 minutes (depends on your oven). Peek in at 10 minutes and make sure they are dry like a chip!
